The term Restaurants was first invented in 1507 and was first official adopted and used in 1802 by the Britishers. Now a days it is very common and popular, yet many of the Indian Restaurant serve very good food quality but lack proper Branding and Name. This was an issue as they have not planned to grow there business in a proper manner and have not thought of creating there own identity.

But, with this booming internet & mobile culture, awareness in this respect has grown and  people now think differently about there businesses. Creating and applying a proper theme for your restaurant and shops is not very expensive. You just need a proper planning from a business analytic expert and good visualization of of your proposal through an architect and interior designer.

Here we want to present an example and our personal experience of designing a restaurant concept, considering current growing market and competition. We hope sooner it will become a proper chain of a food restaurant. So the story is started with a mobile call from Gujarat. A 35 year old young man looking for an architect & interior designer in Lucknow for his 1st restaurant. He already had a franchise of two different restaurants but now he was willing to create his own food chain. We met him & talked about his ideas and concept, about what he was going to sell and some other related thinks.

After a few discussion and meeting we prepared a presentation of his restaurant. The restaurant site is in the posh location of Hazratganj market in Lucknow, but we have to face a major space problem. We decided to go for light coloured theme as the place is very linear and dark, one side of the property has just a service corridor to serve neighboring properties.

We placed non-operable fixed windows on this side wall, also as it was the south west direction.

We also decided to place the pay counter of the restaurant at the inner side & not on the Entry/Exit gate of the restaurant and this simple idea make the restaurant more lively and beautiful.

Theme base walls, windows and interior elements are personally selected and placed by our very senior and expert Interior Designer Ms. Geeta Barma ji.

We have also used the very prominent and dominating dark Wooden color false ceiling with metal boxing grids to break the monotony of the theme. All our required services may be run under the false ceiling, whoever here we did not have much height in the restaurant and multiple beams are coming on the ceiling so we decided to use the Split Ac on the walls.

the total estimated budget of this restaurant could come around 35 Lac, for Flooring, False ceiling, Partition Walls, Toilet fitting and fixture, Wood works, Modular kitchen & all other designer elements Work.
